High school students aren’t the only ones donning a cap and gown this week.
Graduation begins on the campuses of the New Brunswick Community College starting with Saint Andrew’s and Woodstock on Thursday followed by Miramichi on Friday.
“The hard work and dedication of our learners doesn’t end at graduation,” said Marilyn Luscombe, President and CEO of NBCC. “Armed with the new skills and knowledge they have gained during their time at NBCC, they are now ready to become full contributors to New Brunswick’s social and economic prosperity.”
Graduates in Saint John and Fredericton get their turn on Monday and the last ceremony is in Moncton on Tuesday.
“We wish our graduates the best of luck as they move into the workforce and continue NBCC’s efforts to transform lives and communities.” Luscombe added.
The New Brunswick Community College has an employment rate of approximately 90 per cent one year after graduation.
94 per cent of those graduates are working in New Brunswick.
