Police believe Williams shot and killed Corporal Eugene Cole in the early morning hours of April 25 in Norridgewock, Maine—about an hour east from Bangor. Officials believe that Williams stole Corporal Cole’s marked cruiser, committed a robbery at a convenience store and then abandoned the vehicle.
A $20,000 reward was being offered by the FBI, Somerset County Sheriff’s Office and Maine State Police for information leading to his arrest.
