A building that has been used as a funeral home since 1887 will have a brand new purpose come February 28th.
Fitzpatrick Funeral Home at 100 Waterloo Street will cease operations and then be known as the Outflow Centre for Training and Employment.
It’s all part of Outflow Ministries which currently operates the men’s shelter serving 600 meals per week.
The announcement was made on Tuesday by Brenan’s Funeral Homes President Steve MacMakin.
The Outflow Centre for Training and Employment in the Fitzpatrick Building will include the Catapult Industry Inc which is a successful social enterprise construction company that provides employment opportunities for people with employment barriers.
