Country 94 is extremely proud to partner with many non-profits and charitable organizations that make a difference in our community! We’re shining a spotlight on these organizations to share how they’re continuing to help our community through the COVID-19 pandemic, as well as how we can help support them.
What has been a highlight for your organization from the past year?
“Through the generosity and commitment of our donors and workplace campaigns last year, we were able to grant over $1.18M (the most we have ever granted) to 18 organizations in our community. These organizations are making concrete, positive impacts in the lives of individuals, children and families in the Saint John, Kings & Charlotte region. We are thrilled to be able to help them achieve their goals!
What message do you have for the community right now?
United Way has been working on behalf of the Saint John region for over 60 years now and through that time, we have seen our city and region face many challenges. But history has shown that regardless of the difficult circumstances we are faced with, we come together, we help each other, and we come out stronger in the end. COVID-19 is yet another challenge that is showing us our resilience and our capacity for caring and compassion in our community. We will get through this and we will get through it TOGETHER.
How can our community help you at this time?
The Atlantic Compassion Fund was created in response to the COVID-19 pandemic and is allowing us to provide funding for essential and emerging needs of our most vulnerable populations at this time. If you are in a position to give, please consider doing so at https://unitedwaysaintjohn.com/covid19/.”
Thank you, United Way, for all that you do for our community! Visit them at https://unitedwaysaintjohn.com/ to find out more information.
