Krista has worked for Country 94 for almost 9 years – starting on the weekends and filling in for just about every different shift. Starting in January 2024, Krista is THRILLED to be your host for the LIVE DRIVE with Krista, Monday through Friday 3-6 pm. Krista, her husband Ray and their cat Cooper (Kitty of the Year) currently live in Quispamsis but Krista has been a native of Saint John her entire life. She started in radio back in the late 80’s and returned to radio in 2015 after a career in IT. She LOVES Country Music and can often be seen dancing in the studio on King Street.
What does Krista love about country music? EVERYTHING! She loves interviewing artists like Dean Brody, Tim Hicks, Lindsay Ell, Scotty McCreery, Tyler Hubbard – the list goes on and on. She loves going to country concerts and (no shocker here!) has seen Dean about 7 times. Her favourite artists in concert include Tim Hicks and Dallas Smith.
If you ask Krista her ABSOLUTE FAVOURITE thing, though, about country radio, the answer is the connection with you, the listener. The friendships made over the years, the laughs shared, the chats on the phone and texting tool, the absolute over-the-top FUN we have with our listeners is second to none. So there, now you know 😊
