Fredericton Police say they are actively pursuing information that Peter Bryden was the victim of a serious assault.
The 46 year old Bryden is still in critical condition at the Regional Hospital. Police are saying they want to speak to two or three people of interest.

Bryden, the son of retired Senator John Bryden, attended the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival Friday and was discovered in the north end of Fredericton early Saturday morning. He lives in Nashwaaksis and works as a civil engineer at Fredericton Airport.
