A man in his sixties remains in hospital after a fire early Monday morning at 250 Waterloo Street.
City fire crews responding to the blaze in a six-unit apartment building just before 5 a.m.
The man was found unconscious inside the building and firefighters performed CPR on him with help from paramedics before he was taken to the hospital.
An elderly woman and another man were also treated for smoke inhalation.
The fire was quickly brought under control but the second-floor apartment where it started suffered major damage and there is minor smoke and water damage in other parts of the building.
A fire investigator has determined the cause of the fire was accidental.
