If you park along Douglas Avenue in Saint John, you may need to look elsewhere on Monday.
No on-street parking will be allowed between Main Street and Bentley Street from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
City officials said the temporary parking ban is needed to complete snow clearing and removal.
Temporary no-parking signs will be posted at least eight hours before snow-clearing efforts begin.
Any vehicles remaining on the street will face enforcement in the form of fines and potentially towing.

Earlier this week, the city’s public works director told our newsroom that street-by-street parking bans would be necessary following a “challenging” winter storm over the weekend.
Tim O’Reilly said they have been experiencing compliance challenges during overnight parking bans, which are meant to help make it easier for crews to clear snow and ice off the streets.
O’Reilly acknowledged it would take days — if not weeks — for all of the ice from the weekend storm to be removed to fully melt from all streets and sidewalks.
