Power has now been restored to most New Brunswick after high winds battered the province eerier in the week.
As many as 55,000 customers were without power on Thursday because of torrential rain and wind gusts upwards of 90 kilometres per hour.
Around 300 homes and businesses remained off the grid as of 10 p.m. Friday, according to NB Power’s website.
The bulk of the outages are in the Kennebecasis Valley/Fundy region, where more than 220 customers are impacted.
Meanwhile, around 70 customers remain off the grid in the Central York/Sunbury region, and there are a handful still impacted in the Charlotte/Southwest and Kings/Queens regions.
