Much of New Brunswick is in for another several days of very warm and humid weather.
A heat warning has been issued for central and southern New Brunswick, excluding the Fundy coast.
The high will reach 27°C on Friday but it will feel closer to 36 C when you factor in the humidity.
On Saturday, highs will hit 28°C with humidex values ranging from 36 to 38 in the warning area.
There will not be much relief at night either, with Friday night’s low expected to be around 20°C.
Forecasters said conditions are expected to peak on Sunday with temperatures as high as 31°C and humidex near 39.
The very warm and humid weather is forecast to stick around until Wednesday night, according to Environment Canada.
Environment Canada recommends scheduling outdoor activities during the coolest parts of the day and limiting direct sun exposure.
You should also watch for the effects of heat illness, which include swelling, rash, cramps, fainting, heat exhaustion, heat stroke, and the worsening of some health conditions.
