A task force examining American Iron and Metal operations in Saint John will continue to meet on a regular basis.
Jeffrey Earle of Dillon Consulting will lead the environmental site assessment, working alongside Rob Simonds, who is leading the overall investigation.
The task force has released the five-day report submitted by AIM that was required by the government.
Soil sampling tests will also be done by the Department of Environment at the nearby community garden to test for contaminants.
Further updates from the task force will be released as needed.
A fire at AIM Recycling on Saint John’s west side on Sept. 14 burned for more than 40 hours.
