If you are looking to rent a Crown land camp lot in New Brunswick, now is your chance.
The Department of Natural Resources says dozens of one-acre lots are currently available for rent.
“New Brunswickers who enjoy the outdoors will now have a chance to access more areas of the province for hunting, fishing and other recreational activities,” Natural Resources Minister Mike Holland said in a statement.
According to an online map provided by the province, 80 lots were available for rent as of Monday afternoon.
In total, New Brunswick has 2,962 camp lots on Crown lands, which generate $1.5 million in revenue annually.
New Brunswickers who are interested can now apply for a camp lot by filling out an online application form.
It costs $575 to apply for a lot, with annual rent ranging from $400 for upland lots to $800 for waterfront lots.
Holland said these lots are another way for people in the province to enjoy the benefits of nature.
