What a difference 24 hours can make when it comes to the weather in New Brunswick.
The province is dealing with a wintry mess on Friday, one day after warm temperatures broke records.
St. Stephen, Grand Manan and Fundy National Park reached highs of 12°C, according to Environment Canada.
It was 11°C in Saint John, Point Lepreau and Kouchibouguac National Park.
The last time Feb. 16 was that warm in most of those communities was in 2016.
In Point Lepreau, however, the previous record dated all the way back to 1939.
Records were also broken or tied on Thursday in Bas-Caraquet (8.4°C), Bathurst (9.6°C), Charlo (8.6°C) and Miscou Island (5.8°C).
