The first season for Swoop at the Saint John Airport is considered a big success.
Seven thousand passengers took advantage of the new carrier when Swoop landed at YSJ in the spring.
Saint John Airport President and CEO Sandy Ross thanked them for their service to the people in the region.
“Coming out of the pandemic we all have a great need to see family and friends again and to get back to regular business travel. We were happy to have Swoop at YSJ. For people looking to get to Toronto this autumn, Flair is still flying 3 times per week, and we are hopeful Air Canada will be increasing its service in the autumn as well,” Ross said.
Work is ongoing at Saint John Airport is bring air travel options to the Southern New Brunswick Region.
Swoop flights continue until September 4th and will return next spring.
