More than a year after its initial release, Eric Church is making his & album available to the general public. The project is the middle installment of his triple album, Heart & Soul, which he released in April of 2021.
While his Heart and Soul albums were original released to the public, Church’s & album was an exclusive project reserved for his fan club, the Church Choir. That changed on Friday, as the album is now available as a standard CD, vinyl and on all streaming platforms.
Country Rewind Records has announced the release of Hank Snow – The Lost Souvenir Collection with Special Guest Artist Jimmie Snow. this is a special collection of newly discovered recordings. Hank Snow is one of country music’s most gifted performers who has influenced several generations of musicians. He was elected to the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame in 1978 and was elected to the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1979. He was also recognized by the Nova Scotia Music Hall of Fame and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 1985. This album is a tribute to Hank’s long and illustrious career.
Dan + Shay are a part of Kenny Chesney’s “Here and Now Tour” that played Saturday night at Ford Field in Detroit.
Both country artists love dogs and Dan’s wife Abby is an animal rescue advocate who works with Nashville rescues.
Dan stopped off at Carhartt in Detroit and loaded up on leashes and dog collars to bring back to Nashville for the dogs. Dan also stocked up on his winter gear for snowboarding.
Chesney’s “Here and Now Tour” with Dan + Shay, Old Dominion, and Carly Pearce wraps up this weekend at Gillette Stadium.
Luke Bryan had a show over the weekend in Morgan Wallen’s hometown of Knoxville, Tennessee at Thompson Boling Arena.
Since Morgan Wallen is the biggest thing in country music these days, Luke decided to have a little fun with his hometown crowd. He started to play Morgan’s song “Whiskey Glasses,” before saying: “Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to the stage, Morgan Wallen!”
Of course, the crowd went crazy!
“Morgan is not here!” Then Riley kept the joke going.
“I know Morgan Wallen’s not here, but you know who is here? Blake Shelton everybody!”
Luke is having a pretty good laugh at this point in the joke.
