The Saint John Police Force (SJPF) has arrested a man wanted on a Canada-wide warrant.
Fabian Cromwell was wanted in connection with an alleged assault in the city’s north end in January.
The 53-year-old was facing charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and assault causing bodily harm.
In an updated release on Sunday, the force said Cromwell had been arrested the night before.
“On March 12, 2022 at approximately 10:57 p.m., Cromwell was arrested at a residence on Sandy Point Road in Saint John. He was taken into custody without incident and is scheduled to appear before provincial court on March 13, 2022,” reads the most recent SJPF release.
On January 28, 2022, a Canada-wide warrant was issued for Cromwell’s arrest for the following charges:
1. Attempted murder
2. Aggravated assault
3. Assault causing bodily harm
4. Flight from a peace officer
5. Mischief
6. Violation of a release order
