The recipients for the City of Saint John’s 2022 Community Grants Program have been unveiled.
Common Council approved funding for the successful applicants during their meeting on Monday night.
The annual program provides funding opportunities to support local non-profit organizations whose services promote healthy, active, and inclusive communities.
Eligible associations within the city applied for one of three categories: organization support, community projects, and special events.
A total of 25 applications were approved with funding ranging from $1,000 to $19,500. The Community Grants Funding envelope for 2022 was $184,000.
