Walker Hayes “Fancy Like” continues to be country’s hot song!
The viral hit banks its 20th week on Billboard‘s airplay-, sales- and streaming-sales based Hot Country Songs chart. It’s just the sixth song in the list’s history to reign for 20 or more frames.
It’s the sweetheart story of the year! Buzz for Walker’s ode to life’s simpler pleasures, including Applebee’s date nights, exploded thanks to TikTok, where Hayes posted multiple clips dancing to the song with his six children and others.
Now An A Capella group has done a Christmas spin on Fancy Like:
BLAKE SHELTON says his relationship with Gwen Stefani brought with it a unique Christmas tradition: the wrapping paper wall her kids run through. Blake jokes, “I’m not kidding when I talk about how serious this is to the Stefanis.”
… Gwen explains the wrapping paper wall has been a tradition in her family since she was a child, when her own father, Dennis, would construct a wall of wrapping paper, blocking access to the Christmas tree. On Christmas morning, the kids would have to crash through the wall in order to see what Santa brought them. It’s a tradition she’s carried on with her own kids.
