Expect your cell phone to make a loud noise late Wednesday morning.
A test of the Alert Ready system will be sent out around 10:55 a.m.
The system is used to send critical safety alerts to the public.
The alert will go out on compatible wireless devices, along with radio and TV.
The system was put to the test Tuesday evening when an AMBER Alert was issued for two young children.
A subsequent alert was sent less than an hour later after RCMP said the children were found safe.
