New Brunswick Public Health reported 44 new cases of COVID-19 on Monday.
There are 12 new cases in the Moncton region, nine in the Saint John region area, six in the Fredericton health zone, two in the Edmundston area, and 15 in the Miramichi region.
After 13 recoveries, active cases across the province now stand at 504.
There are 99 active cases in the Saint John region, and 200 in the Moncton area.
Seventeen people are being treated in hospital, nine require an ICU.
Public Health says 86 per cent of the eligible population is fully vaccinated while 92.9 per cent have one dose of vaccine.
Officials said 11 new cases have been confirmed at seven schools since Friday, including three Saint John schools: Champlain Heights School, Island View School, and Simonds High School. There have also been confirmed cases at École Le Marais in Dieppe, Riverview Middle School, and Hillcrest School in Moncton.
There have now been 453 cases connected to 122 schools since the beginning of the school year.
