The City of Saint John began offering free skating for the public on Friday, Oct. 8.
Free skating times are available at the Charles Gorman, Peter Murray and Stewart Hurley arenas. It is also available for seniors and preschoolers, according to the city.
The Stewart Hurley isn’t open yet, but the city will inform the public once it’s determined.
In order to take part, skaters don’t have to wear masks on the ice, but they must wear them in all common areas and provide proof of vaccination with a government-issued photo ID to enter all municipal recreation facilities.
