Expect more ramp closures on Harbour Bridge in Saint John as part of the massive rehabilitation project.
Starting Tuesday, Aug. 24, the Chesley Drive on-ramp for westbound traffic will be closed until around mid-October.
“This is in effort to alleviate some congestion and help reduce safety concerns during the rehabilitation work on the bridge structure,” the Department of Transportation and Infrastructure said in a statement.
As a result, Saint John Transit said the 15A Harbour Bridge route will not service Main Street during the closure.
The bus will be using the on-ramp from the viaduct to get to Harbour Bridge.
“Saint John Transit apologizes for any inconvenience that this may cause during this time,” said a statement from the city.
