A man from Elsipogtog has been charged following an armed robbery in Moncton.
Codiac RCMP responded to a call about an armed robbery around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday at a pharmacy on St. George Street.
Police say a man entered the business with a knife and demanded cash and medication.
The man fled in a vehicle before officers arrived.
No one was hurt.
Later the same day, police found the vehicle parked outside a McKenzie Avenue home.
A man was later arrested, a large quantity of cash was seized and the medication was recovered from the vehicle.
Jody Sanipass, 27, remains in custody on one count of armed robbery and he returns to court on September 13.
