New Brunswick Public Health reported one new case of COVID-19 in the province on Monday.
The travel-related case involves a person in their 60s in the Fredericton health region, Zone 3.
The number of known active cases remains at six with one new recovery reported since Sunday.
As of Monday, 64.4 per cent of New Brunswickers aged 12 and older are fully vaccinated.
A total of 81.5 per cent of eligible residents have received their first dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
“Your risk of contracting COVID-19, and of being severely ill as a result, is much higher if you have not been vaccinated, or if you have only received one dose,” Dr. Jennifer Russell, chief medical officer of health, said in a news release.
Mobile vaccination clinics for those who have not yet received their first or second dose are continuing this week at the following locations:
- Village Hall, 199 Main St., Canterbury, today, Monday, July 26, between noon and 5 p.m.
- Triple C Recreation Centre, 817 Rockland Rd., Rockland, Tuesday, July 27, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
- Juniper Recreation Centre, 6840 Route 107, Juniper, Wednesday, July 28, between noon and 4 p.m.
- Recreation Centre, 160 Klokkedahl Hill Rd., New Denmark, Thursday, July 29, between noon and 5 p.m.
- Saint-Paul Golden Age Club, 6532 Route 515, Saint-Paul, Thursday, July 29, between noon and 6 p.m.
- Knights of Columbus Hall, 22 Hallett Rd., Beechwood, Friday, July 30, between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.
All clinics are walk-in and do not require an appointment to attend.
A number of community clinics are also taking walk-ins without appointments.
