New Brunswick’s active COVID-19 case count is back on the decline, as no new cases have been reported on Sunday.
According to the COVID-19 dashboard, since Saturday, four people have recovered from the virus, dropping the number of active cases to six.
The province’s six remaining cases are spread evenly among three health zones, with two each in Zone 1, the Moncton region, Zone 2, the Saint John region and Zone 3, the Fredericton region.
Public Health administered 5,447 doses of a COVID-19 vaccine on Saturday.
The majority continue to be second doses 64.3% of New Brunswickers 12 and older are now considered fully vaccinated.
With over 700 first dose vaccinations, 81.5% of the eligible population has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.
