A reckless driving incident that turned violent has the Saint John Police Force looking for answers.
On Saturday, officers were called to reports of reports of stunting along Station Street near TD Station.
Upon arriving, they noticed a crowd of bystanders encouraging drivers to perform “burnouts or donuts” with their vehicles.
After attempting to conduct a motor vehicle stop, police say the crowd moved in front of the officer’s vehicle before a bottle was thrown, causing minor damage.
Police say that tickets were issued, but no arrests were made.
