New Brunswick recorded its 38th death from COVID-19 on Monday.
Public Health said it involves a person over the age of 90 living at a special care home in Grand Falls.
Fifteen new cases of the virus were found in the province including one in the Moncton area, three in the Saint John region and five in the Fredericton zone.
The Edmundston area has three new cases, the Campbellton zone has one and the Bathurst region adds two new cases.
Eight people recovered since Sunday.
There are 142 active cases of COVID-19 with six people being hospitalized, two of them are in the intensive care unit.
