A familiar face has joined the list of hopeful councillors for Grand Bay-Westfield.
John Balemans is running as a councillor candidate for another term.
He said he’s in favour of healthy growth and development along with recreational improvements and community events.
Balemans said in his time as town councillor he supported these goals as well as when he was on the River Valley Community Centre Board of Directors.
He said he’ll be primarily running his campaign through social media to adhere to COVID-19 requirements.
He’ll also be posting up election signs and sending mailouts to constituents.
He has lived in Grand Bay-Westfield with his family for over 20 years.
