After weeks of steady increases at the pumps, the president of Canadians for Affordable Energy believes New Brunswickers will finally get a break.
Dan McTeague thinks a drop of about seven cents per litre is likely this week.
He adds diesel could fall by roughly four cents per litre.
McTeague adds he was frustrated by regulators last week when Nova Scotia invoked its interrupter clause and dropped gas prices but New Brunswick did not.
The Energy and Utilities Board will make its weekly price adjustment at midnight.
