More New Brunswickers will begin receiving their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine on Wednesday.
Pharmacists will begin vaccinating New Brunswickers who are 85 and older who live in the community.
Nearly every pharmacy in the province is participating and they began taking appointments last week.
Those who are not 85 and older or calling on behalf of someone who is are being asked not to try and book an appointment just yet.
More announcements are expected in the coming weeks to inform people when they are eligible to book an appointment.
Health officials have said all New Brunswickers who want a COVID-19 vaccine should be able to get at least their first dose by Canada Day.
You can find the province’s updated COVID-19 vaccine rollout plan on the Government of New Brunswick’s website.
