Local women will come together virtually Tuesday night to support yet another Greater Saint John charity.
Members of the 100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John will hold their latest meeting at 5:30 p.m.
The women will hear five-minute presentations from three local charitable organizations.
Each of the 260+ members will then donate $100 to the charity they choose as a group.
“Each time we meet, the community tells me they are inspired and encouraged by the fact that there are 260+ women who really do care about local causes in Greater Saint John, and who are effectively going about making a difference,” said co-founder Debbie Rathwell in a news release.
100 Women Who Care of Greater Saint John has donated more than $750,000 to local charities since 2013.
During Tuesday’s meeting, First Steps will also provide an update of how they used the nearly $26,000 they received from the women in December.
