Public Health has announced the second day with no new COVID-19 cases in New Brunswick this week.
Unfortunately, Sunday’s announcement also came with the news of the 27th COVID-related death in New Brunswick.
The individual was a resident of Villa des Jardins in Edmundston.
“It is important to remember that each case and each death affects more than just the number that is reported,” said Premier Blaine Higgs in a press release Sunday. “We cannot become desensitized to the affect this virus has had on our province.”
Two more individuals recovered, and there are now 38 active cases of the virus province-wide.
One patient is battling the virus in a New Brunswick hospital, and they are currently in the intensive care unit.
