RCMP confirming the death of a 71-year-old woman from Moores Mills. It occurred from a three-vehicle collision in Old Ridge just outside of St. Stephen on December 14th.
The woman was transported to hospital and died of her injuries on December 29th.
Police believe the accident occurred when her vehicle travelling southbound on Route 3 crossed the centreline and collided with a transport truck. A third vehicle travelling southbound also collided with the victim’s sedan.
A 42-year-old woman was also treated in hospital for minor injuries and later released.
