The latest COVID-19 outbreak at Shannex Parkland Saint John has grown to 18 cases, the company announced late Wednesday.
Shannex said three more employees at the Tucker Hall nursing home have tested positive since their last update Tuesday night.
This brings the number of positive cases identified at the nursing home this week to 11 residents and seven employees.
Shannex said it has now received all results from testing of residents and employees on Tuesday. Retesting is scheduled to take place Friday.
“All residents of Tucker Hall will continue to isolate in their suites with support and our team members are supporting them with activities and facilitating opportunities to connect with their loved ones through telephone or virtual calls,” Shannex said in a news release.
There have been 35 confirmed cases at Parkland Saint John since Nov. 20, which includes the 18 cases in this latest outbreak.
