Wet weather is expected to continue throughout much of New Brunswick on Boxing Day.
Rainfall warnings are in place for southern and western regions, including Saint John, Sussex, St. Stephen and Fredericton.
Environment Canada says up to 60 millimetres of rain could fall before it changes over to a brief period of snow Saturday afternoon as temperatures fall.
For northern and eastern New Brunswick, including the Moncton area, 15 to 25 millimetres of rain is expected, followed by five to 10 centimetres of snow.
Conditions will clear out in time for Sunday as temperatures return to more seasonal values.
