Pop-up vendors are coming to the Saint John City Market. It is part of the new Saturday Winter Market which starts this weekend.
The pop-up vendors will set up alongside regular market merchants from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Manager Andrew Macdonald says the Saturday Winter Market will bring a distinct vibe to the uptown, with new faces and products to showcase.
“With seasonal summer markets like the Saint John Night Market, Queen Square Farmers Market and Kingston Farmers Market coming to a close, we saw an opportunity to create something special uptown and welcome more vendors into our space,” said MacDonald.
There will be 13 pop-up vendors this weekend, bringing the total number of market merchants to over 30, and the city expects even more in the coming weeks.
MacDonald says they also plan to include theme weeks and welcome special Christmas Market vendors as the holidays approach.
