Less than a week to go before the ghosts and goblins take to the streets to trick or treat.
A reminder about some of the ways homeowners can have a safe Halloween.
If you do not want trick-or-treaters at your home, it is suggested you leave your porch lights off.
If you are planning on giving out treats, sanitize hands between visitors, keep high-touch areas clean, and consider making individual treat bags rather than using one bowl.
If your children are going out, limit their trick-or-treating to one neighbourhood.
Officials say anyone at higher risk should avoid participating in Halloween activities altogether.
