A reminder from Beausejour MP and Minister of Intergovernmental Affairs about the new measures being taken by the federal government to help businesses affected by COVID-19.
Dominic Leblanc says this includes the new rent subsidy program,”These measures, in addition to a number of others will help affected businesses during the pandemic, which is also important to allow local public health authorities to make the decisions they must make.”
Leblanc took part in a recent COVID-19 news conference with the Prime Minister and Canada’s Chief Medical Officer of Health.
He says, the federal government is here to help, and they also recently announced an additional contribution of $100 million to Canadian food banks.
He adds, “I invite everyone to take an action that will help someone in their community. Whether it is giving to a local food bank, or calling someone who may be isolated, because of a second wave of COVID-19, There is a way for all of us to help one another.”
Qu'il s'agisse d'accroître la capacité de dépistage ou de protéger les plus vulnérables, notre gouvernement continuera…
