Residents in the Saint John and Grand Manan areas will be in for a bit of a treat on Sunday.
The Bluenose II plans to sail near Partridge Island around late morning or noon and anchor in Grand Manan in the evening.
It is part of a unique tour through parts of the Maritimes dubbed Sail Past Summer.
The Bluenose Two is expected to visit 26 Nova Scotia communities and sail along parts of the coast of New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island.
But because of COVID-19, visitors will not be allowed onboard and there will not be any harbour cruises.

Update on our sailing schedule! We plan to heave up anchor in Digby around 8:30-9am tomorrow, set sail in the Annapolis Basin (weather dependent) and sail out of the Digby Gut. We plan to sail up the Bay of Fundy coast toward Harbourville as far as daylight allows. We will sail by the New Brunswick coast on Sunday, passing near Saint John around late morning or noon, then anchoring in Grand Manan Sunday evening. We are keeping an eye on hurricane Isaias and hoping it doesn’t affect our schedule. We will keep our social media channels updated with any changes.Track our location: https://bluenose.novascotia.ca/location🎥:: Josee Bujold Muenzer / Petit Passage, NSDigby Area Tourism Digby, Nova Scotia Saint John, New Brunswick Nova Scotia New Brunswick Grand Manan, New Brunswick Grand Manan Tourism
