The ferry service linking New Brunswick and Nova Scotia is expanding to include mid-day departures.
The news comes on the heels of the Atlantic provinces bubble beginning July 3.
Mid-day departures on Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday will now be included as part of the MV Fundy Rose ferry service. The additional sailings will be from Digby at 11 a.m. and Saint John at 2:15 p.m.
The new departures will begin July 7 and continue until Sept. 8.
Ferry reservations are mandatory and passenger capacity is at 50 per cent to allow for physical distancing.
Reservations can be made online or by calling toll free at 1-877-762-7245.
Passengers must bring a face covering to wear for when physical distancing cannot be maintained.
The ferry schedule can be viewed online. All sailing schedules are subject to the approval of the provincial health authorities of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
