The Atlantic Provinces Travel Bubble becomes a reality on Friday allowing residents to travel throughout the region without self-isolating.
But crossing provincial borders won’t be as simple as it was pre-pandemic.
Drivers can expect delays since peace officers will be at all border entry points asking COVID-19-related questions and seeking proof of residence.
If you’re heading to Prince Edward Island, visitors must complete an online self-declaration form and provide a copy upon entering.
The forms will be available on the P.E.I. Government website before Thursday.
Other Canadians visiting the Maritimes will have to self-isolate for 14 days upon arrival but Newfoundland an Labrador has lifted that restriction.
