City firefighters responded to a fire in the city’s north end around 12:30 a.m. Sunday.
The three-storey building on Victoria Street was vacant, though the burning building was just feet away from an occupied home.
Firefighters safely evacuated the nearby building, and no one was injured.
Six of the city’s seven fire trucks were called to the scene, as firefighters stayed in the area to ensure the blaze remained contained.
