Police have made an arrest in relation to an assault and robbery case at the Superstore in Rothesay from last month.
A release from the Kennebecasis Valley Regional Police stated the Criminal Investigation Division arrested the suspect in Moncton yesterday, with help from the Codiac and Riverview RCMP detachments.
Police say the suspect attempted to evade arrest in his vehicle, and three police vehicles were damaged during the pursuit.
The original incident took place on the evening of March 11, when officers were dispatched after a woman was attacked in the Superstore parking lot.
At the time, police indicated they were looking for two men who had fled in a black Honda Civic.
A suspect was identified earlier this week in Moncton, and arrested shortly after. His vehicle was also seized.
Michael Joseph McGraw, 19, of Moncton, appeared in Saint John court on a charge of armed robbery, and now has dangerous driving and evading police charges pending.
McGraw is scheduled for a bail hearing on April 6.
