Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday after a head-on crash in the Bloomfield Creek Covered Bridge.
RCMP Sgt. Janet LeBlanc said emergency crews were called to the bridge between Hampton and Norton around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday.
LeBlanc said one vehicle was about three-quarters of the way through the one-lane bridge when the second vehicle started to drive through.
The driver of one vehicle and a passenger in the other were taken to hospital with minor injuries, she said.
LeBlanc said they are still investigating the collision but charges are not expected.
