If you’re thinking about running in the municipal elections, here’s a chance to learn more about it.
The city is hosting a meeting tonight for potential candidates.
The information session, run by the city’s common clerk, will go over bylaws for elected officials, ward details, and big projects the city is currently working on.
It’ll also go over the city’s goals when it comes to financial sustainability and population growth.
Tonight’s session will take place at the Saint John Free Public Library from 6:30 to 8 p.m.
If you’re in KV, Elections N-B will host an event at Quispamsis Town Hall at 7 p.m. Thursday.
Nominations for the municipal elections open on March 23rd and close on April 9th.
Voters will head to the polls on Monday, May 11th
