A distraught mother has travelled to Moncton, to search for her son who disappeared earlier this month.
RCMP say 27-year-old Adam Grant Howard was as last seen walking on Route 115 in Irishtown on January 6th
Sandra Slater currently lives in Las Vegas, but she is in Moncton with her two daughters, Christine and Amy Howard, with a plea for help to find her son..
She says she hasn’t heard her son’s voice since December 4th and it is tearing her apart, “We just need light shed on this. We need to know what has happened. If my son is still alive, I want him to be okay and I want him to contact me. He needs to know we are actively here in Moncton looking for him. We are all just distraught and devastated by this.”
Slater says her son was working for Strict Union, a tattoo and barber shop in Moncton which recently closed its doors.
“I want to hear from him if he out there. If he has been involved in something, he just needs to come forward and say something. Right now, we just want him found and we want him back . Because it is just wrecking me. It is tearing me apart,” Slater says.”
She feels as though her family have been given a lot of misinformation and she just doesn’t know who to trust anymore.
“All of the information I’ve received from others who say they know Howard, just doesn’t add up. Someone must know something,” Slater says.
RCMP issued a news release on January 9th, with a description of Adam Grant Howard.
He is described as being six feet one inch tall and weighing 170 pounds with blue eyes, dark brown hair, and a beard. He has tattoos on his chest and arms and the word “trust” on the back of his neck. Adam Howard was last seen wearing black jeans, a black jacket, black shoes and a black Toronto Blue Jays baseball cap.
Through tears Slater told us, “My son used to talk to me three to five times a week. He used to video chat me from work. We all love him so much. He is my baby, my baby.”
Anyone with information about Adam Howard’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Riverview RCMP at 506-387-2222.
