Environment Canada has ended the snowfall warning for all of southern New Brunswick.
The national weather agency was forecasting between 15 and 25 centimetres of snow on Sunday.
Preliminary weather data from the Saint John Airport showed around 11 centimetres fell as of 2 p.m. Sunday.
Another two to four centimetres of snow is forecast to fall before it ends overnight Sunday night.
Gusty winds led to blowing snow throughout the day Sunday. At times, visibility was less than one kilometre at the airport.
The snowfall prompted Saint John to declare an overnight parking ban Sunday night for north, east and west areas of the city.
Snow Impacts Transportation
The latest update from NB 511 shows Highway 1 and Highway 7 are snow-covered with drifting snow in places.
Saint John Transit has also been affected by the snowfall. Sunday service was delayed until 1 p.m. due to the weather.
Route 1A and 1B are not servicing Richmond and Waterloo streets, Route 15A and 15B are not servicing Charlotte, Champlain and Duke streets, and Route 31 are not servicing Mystery Lake Drive and Reading Crescent due to road conditions.
