We now know when the federal Conservatives will choose their next party leader.
The party will announce Andrew Scheer’s replacement on June 27th during a leadership convention in Toronto.
Scheer announced he was stepping down as leader in December, but will remain as interim leader until a new one is found.
Lisa Raitt, co-chair of the Leadership Election Organizing Committee, says the next head of the party must “show how they’re ready to take on the tough job of being Prime Minister.”
