Three years after the events of the first film, Elsa, (Idina Menzel, Rent) finds herself drawn north to the mysterious autumn woods beyond the kingdom of Arendelle as her magic becomes more powerful.
Along with Elsa’s feisty, beloved sister Anna, (Kristen Bell, Veronica Mars), cheerful snowman Olaf, (Josh Gad, Beauty and the Beast) and Anna’s beau Kristoff, (Jonathan Groff, Hamilton) and his reindeer buddy Sven, the company embark on a journey to uncover the origins of Elsa’s powers and the history of Arendelle itself.
It can be a toss-up as to whether a film’s sequel will live up to the hype of the original, odds are the long-awaited return to the world of Frozen looks to be well worth the wait. Frozen’s creative brain trust returns with co-directors Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee alongside Montreal-born composer Christophe Beck and married songwriter duo Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, who all reunited to craft Frozen II.
A return from the same collaborators from the original animated feature are likely to ensure audiences will Let It Go and enjoy the show!
