Saint John Police are investigating a break-in at the Cherry Brook Zoo.
Some time between 10 p.m. on Monday and 8 a.m. Tuesday, someone gained access to the zoo by tampering with the front entry gate.
Once inside, several animal enclosures and exhibits were tampered with. The front gate was also damaged.
A vet was called in to check on all the animals. None were harmed and all have been accounted for.
Major Crime is investigating. Anyone with more information is asked to contact police.
